Graduate Students Ameri David and Charles Nickerson conducted tours of the Polymer Physics Laboratories. Children who are in the 4th through 12th grades, were able to see where scientists study how to correct vision using lasers and watch demonstrations of heating and photographing liquid crystals. They also learned how nematic gels might be used in the future, and most important they made goop!
