Transmission Electron Microscopy Facility
Location: Keck Engineering Laboratory, Room 042

Description and Use Policy:
The Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) Facility in the Materials Science Department is available to campus and non-campus users on a fee basis. Instrument time (for qualified users) and operator services are available. Two transmission electron microscopes are available for use in the facility, a FEI TF30 UT(300kV) and a Philip's EM420(120kV).

Formation of shear bands in bulk metallic glass. These IMAGES were obtained after in situ TEM straining experiments. The analysis of the samples was done by Dr. Evgenia Pekarskaya, working with Professor Bill Johnson.
